"It was in August 2022, that we decided to surpass our traditional California wedding idea, and instead, get married in Sicily. We hoped to make it happen as soon as possible (3 months exactly). Having never been to Sicily, and with a short planning period, we needed someone who can plan our dream destination wedding like Barbara Gravagna, the owner of Amuri Events. She has an amazing personality, and is a professional when it comes to details and organization. She knew exactly what we envisioned, and had ideas for aspects we hadn’t even thought of. With the hastened timeline, Barbara went to work right away within a week of our first meeting. She had presentations regarding locations, venues, color schemes- you name it. She truly went above and beyond any expectations we had and we can’t recommend her and her team enough!

From the very first moment we met Barbara, we knew she was the person for us. Her kind and generous nature shone through, and she instantly understood both us and our vision. She appreciated that we were looking to have more input in the design of our wedding than other people might normally want, and we worked beautifully as a team, curating this together. In the end, we had our dream wedding. There were many things that came together on the day we had trusted Amuri to resolved. The music, the flowers, and the food had been chosen earlier, and we briefed Amuri with the high-level decisions but all of the smaller details were resolved beautifully on the day. As a detail-oriented couple, this was a big leap of faith that paid off wonderfully as we were shielded from many many more decisions, making for a much more enjoyable and stress-free process. Barbara did everything with a smile and made us feel very relaxed on the day."
